Why won’t Cricut let me weld?
Using Weld in Cricut Design Space is pretty simple, but there are a few rules you have to follow. You must be working with at least two shapes/layers. You can’t weld a single layer; the Weld button will be greyed out if only one layer is selected. Welding always merges shapes “down” to the bottom layer.
What does flatten in Cricut do?
Flatten is used with the Print then Cut feature. It takes a multi-layer project and squishes (or flattens) it down all the selected layers into one layer that can be printed on your home printer then cut on your Cricut machine. Aside from the outline, it will also remove all individual cut lines in the end result.
What does reduce colors mean on Cricut?
Reduce Colors – Selecting a smaller number of colors will simplify the image, which may make it easier to remove areas of your image.
